It is one of our most frequently asked questions...

We see a number of smartphones arriving into us each week in need of a battery replacement.  We are often asked when customers come to collect their phone's, 'how can I get the most out of my battery?'.  Below are a few tips on how to get the most out of your smartphone battery.

Try to use the original charger - When charging your phone we would recommend using the original charger it came with.  While there are a number of good quality 3rd party chargers available on the market there are those that can be detrimental to your phone.

Reduce your screen brightness - It is not always necessary to have your screen brightness at 100%, by reducing it you can end up significantly saving on battery life.

Turn off data when it isn't needed - Whenever Wi-Fi is available try to turn off your 3G/4G as this will help reduce how quickly your battery drains.

Bluetooth optional - Bluetooth is often automatically turned on in smartphones if you don't have a need for it turn it off until you do to help save on battery.

Power saver mode - Sometimes you will find yourself in a situation where your battery is low but there isn't a charger in sight.  When this happens go into your phone's settings and turn on power saver mode to help you get a little longer out of your battery.

Hopefully, these tips will help you get the most out of your smartphone battery.
