The owner of the camera pictured above, a Canon 550D, dropped the camera while changing the lens on it, and it no longer powers on. Generally, when a camera is dropped, the lens is the first thing to get damaged, as they are more fragile than the body. Due to the fact that it would no longer turn on, this customer was not particularly optimistic about the chance of it being fixable. Thankfully, one of our engineers diagnosed it as a mainboard problem, and was able to fix it in our lab in a few hours, getting the camera back, as good as new in no time, with a full 6 month warranty.
